aero tech design bibs question

I just ordered a pair. Any of you have them and if so are they as good as those expensive pairs?
Thank you
Ant

I have used them for 2 years, and like the quality, especially for the reasonable cost.
Their customer service has always been great too.

Great value. I have two pairs and also a pair of their bike shorts. I don't find their pads as comfortable as some, but I think that's a personal preference. The stitching that connects the pad to the chamois in the Aerotech shorts and bibs tends to chafe me a bit on longer rides, even when I have rubbed a lot of chamois cream into the seam. But it's a minor irritation, and as I said, they're a great value and I will keep buying them. The leg bands and the overall quality is top-notch.

They're nice. I was slightly disappointed in the tall size though. The leg is longer, which I absolutely love, but the straps are shorter and tighter than my regular Performance Brand bibs. They really dig into the shoulders on a long ride. If you're not disproportionately tall though that won't matter.

I just bought a pair a couple weeks ago and absolutely love them. I find that the straps are better than my Pearls and they fit a little better for my Clydesdale Physic.
Considering the price you can't go wrong.

+1 - have not bought from anywhere but AeroTech - have bibs, shorts, and a jersey - zero issues :)

do they have elastic in the waist also or no.

I've been buying from Aerotech since before they were Aerotech designs. Schnaubelt Shorts used to have product tables at some of the big rides in Ohio, way back in the day (mid 80s, I think).

Excellent stuff, and comparable with other brands' items costing $30 - $40 more.
When you ask if they're comparable to "expensive" pairs, I'm not sure how expensive you mean. I wouldn't put my Aerotek Top Shelf bibs up against my Assos FI.Mille bibs (almost $200 price difference), if that's what you mean. But I'll set them on par with my Performance Ultras, which cost $30 more.

If asking about the bib-shorts - no, they do *NOT*.

The regual shorts do of course.
