Really Bad Week. I was down to 205, then I started putting on weight very quickly. I was up to 213 in a few days. Damage control time.

OK - I know I haven't been updating on this thread like I said I would. Truth is, I haven't been online a whole lot this year. But I had a minor setback recently and need to refocus my efforts.

Monday 7/19 = 321.0

My only daughter's first birthday was this weekend and I got so caught up in the stress of party planning / being a host that I completely forgot that I no longer eat several slices of pizza, empanadas, BBQ, cake, etc. I (no exaggeration) put on over 6 pounds in one weekend! I am going to simply right the ship and work hard this week to get back on track.

Good loss this week, hammering the weight back down, but just had oral surgery. only soft foods for the next couple of days, Ice cream feels good in there ... yikes this could be bad.

HI Guys- sorry for not posting earlier. I am sure my weight is up a bit. Used to be I was chomping at the bit to post these. ARRRRGH.. Where has the motivation gone? Ok I have to get back to work... but will post more later - confess -post my weight (up a poundish) and goals. A bit depressed lately...because I am gaining or am I gaining due to my depression ....Conundrum indeed.

Week 1: 255 lbs

Goal: Next verse, same as the first: to stick to my plan and lose another pound or more in the next week.
It was rough last week - I bobbled around 248 for what seemed like FOREVER, but sticking to my allotted daily calories did the trick.
Eating out - even on the "light menu" really screws with me: is it the sodium? Dunno.

Decided to go for slope, not distance, last night and discovered that my dérailleur was set wrong: I tried for my granny gear, and the chain fell off to the inside. Oh, well -- did what I could in next-to-low gear, then came home.
