Performance shorts vs Falconi Bib-Fit

Earlier this year I bought my first cycling specific bottoms. I bought 2 of the XXXL Performance Century bike shorts. I've been really happy with them. I'm looking to add a couple more cycling bottoms to my wardrobe and I want to try out some bibs. I've read some decent reviews of the Falconi bibs from Love 2 Pedal and I'm thinking of trying them. However, according to there recommended sizes, I'm not sure I'd fit into a 4XL, lol. I was wondering if anyone might have worn both of these brands and could tell me the relative fit of each? I have been losing weight and my current 3XL shorts are getting a little loose so that might affect how I buy the Falconi but it would help to know if they are cut differently then the Century shorts from Performance.

Thank you for your help!

The 4x are enormous. I had a 46 inch waist and I was swimming in them. The 3x are pretty large too, but close to the Performance Gel bibs 2xl in size. Fortunately, Love2pedal has a great return policy. If it's not the right fit, return the shorts for another size.
