Learning to post Garmin Connect

Hi

First, this thread is mostly just a place so I can learn how to share my Garmin Activities on the forums. I do loath this gadget, but am trying to find more fun uses of it.

Here should be the ride I did today, just tooling around my neighborhood.

First attempt, trying to embed, did not work.

https://connect.garmin.com/activity/67317558

Second attempt worked.

Thanks

Why? My 705 is probably the best piece of bike kit that I bought

Why do you loathe your garmin?

My 305 is one of the best investments I have made, and now I'm looking into which one to get that handles power data.

No HR? No Cadence?

No I have not picked up the accessories for this, yet. I have the Oregon 400t, so the accessories are after market. The reason I loath it has more to do with how I got it, than everything else. Which is just a reminder of an unpleasant situation. I also am not really a gadget person, even though I am a gear hound. So it takes me a while to learn it, I also find the touch screen to be aggravating. So ya, I loathe it, but am making my self use it to track my training progress, since I am wanting to do Seattle to Portland in one day this year. Gadget or not, it tracks elevation so it is now in my kit. Which means I need to get an attachment for my bike for it.

And learn to embrace my electronic overload
