Back At It After About A Year Off
Well I broke out the CrossCheck this week and have done 3 rides in 3 days...
4 miles = rolled into the garage depressed
9.5 miles = rolled home feeling better about things
15 miles = rolled back into town knowing it wont take long to get back into form.
I want to drop about 40 lbs before I take the Trek OCLV out and I know it's gonna feel like heaven after riding the steel frame for a couple months.

Fantastic! Keep going. I've been out for short rides on my MTB. I can only imagine what it'll be like on the Cannondale R200. Now if only the weather would cooperate! I guess I should add, I've been off my bike for way too long.

After a winter of only doing spin classes, I can't wait to feel actual movement under my wheels. The last time I spent a winter training indoors was back in my early 30s, and I distinctly remember the unbridled joy of that first real outdoor ride of the following spring - feeling the work of my legs translate into actual motion through space. It was like a miracle.
