craigslist screamin' deal: 2007 Specialized dolce triple with accessories for $580
hey guys: I'm the Athena who was looking for a road bike after riding a comfort bike all over hell and back last summer (33 miler, then a duathlon). had been saving my pennies but wasn't sure I'd be able to afford anything really nice.
BUT! then I remembered craigslist. my DH and I kept a running search for the model I wanted, and Saturday afternoon there it was: a 54 cm 2007 specialized dolce triple, carbon seatpost and fork, with all the other goodies thrown in:
specialized shoes, my size
cannondale jersey and shorts, size medium (won't be long until I fit them)
look clipless pedals
cateye computer with cadence (mileage says 113.8, lol)
extra tubes, co2 pump
insulated bottle (price tag still on)
sunglasses (ditto)
seat post bag (ditto)
it needs a tuneup but that is it. $580 cash. SWEET! can't wait for spring to get here.

You obviously have a better CL than I do here in Indy. The only things that ever show up here are Wallyworld mountain bikes, old Schwinns and BMX.
