First ride of the year

Our first ride is always Around the Block.

It's really around the hill, 10 miles and just under 400 feet of climbing.

Not much of a ride, but I was plenty cold and ready to stop by the end.

Here's hoping for a warm Spring.

My first ride of the year was Tuesday for 14 miles. I'm running around to get ready for my third with my 400 gram weight wool thermals, wind proof layer and checking the air in my studded tires. I just LOVE it that my cycling (outdoors) season has begun. It's already warm for this time of year in Sweden so I'm taking advantage of it while I can before an Arctic blast comes through and reburies all the roads.
