Loving this biking thing
Just got home from an 8 mile ride today. I went on a nice multi-use path near my house. It's built on an old railroad line so it's wide, relatively flat and pretty smooth. The 8 miles just flew by and I was nowhere near as tired as I was riding the hills around my neighborhood. I think I'll just try to push it a little further each time.
This sure beats the heck out of walking. Riding bikes is actually pretty fun. Who knew?

Welcome to the club.
I have commuted to work, gone on cycling vacations,
even picked up the groceries on my bike.
Have fun.

When I've ridden a bike that fits I find that I smile almost the whole time - except for when I'm climbing a hill, when I'm busy trying to breathe. I was surprised at how much I like it because it'd been a loooong time since I'd ridden a bike when we tried it again recently.

You'll find that the miles come together, when you're running on beanpower... 8]

Great to hear it. Always good when you finish a ride and feel great about it.
