Bikes: Had a Surly Cross Check - was totaled in recent accident. Sadly now just a Fuji Crosstown as a backup bike.

Hey ppl 
I've updated here on and off since forever, so I thought I'd give out a few updates.
I had a week off work with my son's spring break. He and I rode a total of 200 miles the last 5 days.
Day one we rode 60 miles to a town in next state, stayed overnight - rode back.
We then rode to a camp ground about 40 miles away, camped the night - rode back.
It's been great
Buying gear for a 2 week tour this summer. Going to ride to New Orleans with him
Still looking to drop 30lbs by May - here is to hoping.

Sounds like a fun mini-tour! You must live somewhere warm to be able to do that this time of year. Was that your first tour ever or have you done it before?
