Feels good to be out and about on the bike, especially with my daughter

Got the GT Transeo out today and my 12-year old daughter's Schwinn and we went for a nice 7-mile ride. Warm day, dogwoods in full bloom, azaleas starting to bloom, butterflies coming out, grass is green and my daughter on her bike and me with mine. Nice rolling road, some uphill, but all doable by both of us. Her telling me how much she likes riding with me......Does it get any better than that? I try to take her on many of my rides but doing so limits how far I can go....but do I care? Not a bit! The time with her on our bikes is priceless. Now to get her mama out there with us! Just had to share. No real point in the post except to say that there is NO excuse not to get out there and ride (especially with the family). Get that blood flowing and keep that weight coming off.....and making memories!

Congrats Virginian! Sounds like a great experience for you and your daughter. Keep it up!

Side note: Dogwoods blooming, *sniff sniff* :/

Virginian, Nothing finer than a family ride in the world of cycling. When my kids wanted to ride longer or further, I let them tell me.

Brad
