Reached a milestone in my loss today

Hey guys, just thought I would give an update. It's been exactly 5 weeks today since I started trying to get back in shape, and I've recorded two things that made me smile this morning . When I stepped on the scale, I finally broke the 180 lb mark with a 179.6 lbs! I haven't seen the 170's since high school. The other is that I've lost a cumulative weight of exactly 15 lbs. My target is about another 15 lbs away, but at least I can see that progress is being made.

Hope everyone (in the US at least) has a happy holiday!

Congrats! Getting halfway is exciting and a great motivator. The last time I lost 30lbs I was ready to have a party. Now any drop in the scale is exciting for me.

I know today will be a BBQ blow out so I have to get on the bike extra days this week.

Keep up the great work. You should be proud of this achievement.

The treat will come at 165 . However, I'm having remorse over the delicious, copious amounts of chinese last night. I swear I weighed almost 4 lbs more this morning..lol. When 165 rolls around it will be new bike time for sure.

Awesome! Keep up the hard good work! I say hard because I feel your pain with losing those last few pounds.
