I'll be happy to join in! You'll probably need to find a GPS Track/Tour/Distance sharing website to let people track and prove the mileage they are doing. There are many options available such as MapMyRide https://www.mapmyride.com/, GPSies https://gpsies.com/, or Veloroutes https://veloroutes.org/.

I reached 100 miles last month, so I'm in for 150 miles this month; I'm already 1/71 of the way there with my 2.1-mile ride into work this morning.

My awesome wife (as opposed to my other, non-awesome one) let me buy a trailer hitch and hitch bike rack for our Mazda5, so when I install those later this week I'll have an easier time exploring new trails in the area. I've found that exploring new areas is a good motivator for me to rack up miles.

I'm in for 200 unless my PT today says back off.

I promised to continue my 100-150 challenge I ran last month. The chef snatched up the 150 group so I started a "pick your goal up to 100 miles" challenge. Hope some of the new riders and riders who are suffering from the heat join in.

I'm in. I did 155 last month. I'm pretty sure I can match it this month. Put me down for 150 miles.

[edit]
1% done! did a quick 1.6 mile ride on my lunch break.

That's it. Plus I think everyone in this forum is trying to improve and increase their mileage. Seriously doubt anyone here would pad their mileage. I use mapmyride, so friend me and you can see where I ride, but then would I have to prove its actually me doing the riding? The possibilities are endless. Bottom line, no prize no care its all for fun and encouragement.

Well, there's a 50 miler club if you say so! Not being sure of myself (returning to biking in June after many years off), I set a goal of 75 miles for July. Now, as it turned out, I not only met that goal, I blew through it, hitting 125 miles by the end of the month.

Still, setting a goal that is both a challenge, AND achievable, is a good thing.

I'm in for 100 this month, 150 as a stretch goal. I was first going to commit to 150, but considering how hot it gets in August, I'll be pleased to meet the goal of 100 miles.

So far this month? 6.5 miles, my fairly typical morning ride.

I'm in plus or minus 150! .
080111 13.69 true miles the mileage tracker @ pedal my bike does not take parts of a mile!! The year total at this point include July; was able to reconstruct it from entries on the Diet Power forum monthly "weight lose challange/support/log". The 58 miles is about half the month; I know I have more just not sure where to find the places I may have record the miles!?!

080211 7.48 miles 109 degrees when I started at 1800 down to 107 at 1900! I rode about 31 min's; at about 20 the body said you are 50 years old WHAT ARE YOU DOING!! I kept going 11 more min's to show it who's boss! As Isit here typing with sweat running off me1 I know TMI!

080311 18.37 Ride was a bit better today of course I did it at 10:30 to 12:00; instead of after 18:00!!

080411 20.09 Rode 1300-1500ish Cooler today also only about 96 as I sit here at 1608 so . . .! I am 1/3 there for 150!

080511 19.49 Sweat pouring miles. Finally got around to logging in the rest of this years rides miles on PedalMyBike so that is why the increase in yearly miles.

080611 Looks like no miles today; called into work from 8-11 then a family thing this afternoon; may get a short walk in but do not think I will ride! We shall see! Then again I figured out at the start of this riding 20 days out of the month at 7.6 (8) miles one could do 150 miles in a month.

080711 No miles Went to the "water park" or at lest the closest thing to one that can be found in Rural KS!

080811 13.49 miles

080911 9.44 miles Nine days in and 102.09 miles for the month! Anyone think I need to up my goal? Besides me!!

081011 11.36 miles. You know today is the first day since I started riding daily in mid late July that I have not broke a sweat the second I get off the bike; of course it is 20 to 30 plus degrees cooler to day! 73 vs 103 and a heat index equal to the temp instead of 5 to 10 degrees higher than the current temp!! Got to love it when the rain moves in; it also makes for a painful end to a ride when I am moving at 15 MPH and the rain is a bit driven into my face by the wind and my forward speed!! Still I am addicted!!

081111 21.99 miles I wanted to just say 22! Did it in 1:31:18 Ok, I am not a racer 14.3 mph is ok!

081211 22.7 miles Did it in 1:30. Did this 22.7 faster than yesterdays 21.99 @ 15.0 mph; till I hit the head winds and RAIN coming home I was doing
16.6 mph (If I remember correctly) but then again I had a tail wind push!! All in all a fun ride -- the lighting was a bit of a scare though; got home to see that two guys had been hit on a local golf course and I live in a town that is 2 miles by 2.5-3 miles square! Got the 150 miles plus 7 today on to 200 or more!!

081311 16.19 miles; much dryer ride to day well if you do not count sweat!!!

081411 0 miles Kind of a rest day; had to mow the yard before the register letter from the city came!! But hey I am 27 miles off of 200 miles.

081511 13.73 miles

081611 15.31 miles; thus my 200 mile goal is done also. 250, 300, 350? We will see!!

081711 12.52 miles; short ride for me! I had to get done in an hour or less so I could go get my son from an event.

081811 0 miles; ran out of daylight; work; promise to kid fulfilled; walmart run but no ride! Oh well the way my hip/leg muscles have been poping the last two days I may have needed a day off!! I also plan a LONG ride tomorrow.

081911 22.65 miles MTD 238.54 (pedalMyBike is rounded up to closest even miles; this is the first time it has been more than the MTD total!)

082011 0 miles

082111 0 miles; though not for the reason I thought I would not ride. We intended to make the 50 mile drive to the super pool in one of the towns near by but the friend that was to go with my son got grounded because of a stupid the friend did. We attempted to get a different friend but no one could go so; son was bummed. He also is having issue with another friend (who went with us the last time we went to the super pool) and that friend wanted him to play but M did not; and I thought life would be easier with a middle school boy instead of a girl; WRONG DAD! I almost went riding and left his mother to deal with it!!

082211 13.73 miles

082311 13.68 miles

082411 25.73 miles. It is again in the triple digits!! Funny I ride longer when it is hot; slower but longer!! avg of 12.8 mph 1:58:59 rolling time abt 2:15 actual time. MTD 291.65

082511 30.39 miles

082611 13.48 miles Last ride on my 43c tires; got home and put 35c on and will look at going to 28c next spring if I am doing anything Uber long (over fifty miles!!). I did a Century on 38's so the 35s will not be bad.

082711 4.68 miles Rode with the wife and son; we rode accross town to a school kick off/community thing. I may be hearing about it for a while. My wife's knee is paining her and her hands are numb (yes she wears gloves). She has not rode in a while like two to four months since the heat got so high. I intend to get her out some this fall and enourage a ride each day of 2-5 miles to get her back where she was years ago. I forget that though we changed our eating together she has not gotten in the exercise I have; We have not been about to go together because of work schedules to she has walked a mile or two before work and I have gone out after I get home from work in the afternoon.

082811 0 miles Family fun at a pool in a town 30 miles off; called it a water park the last time!!

082911 20.96 miles

083011 13.63 miles. Well I must do at least 25.21 miles tomorrow; I would hate to end the month only a few miles from 400 miles in the month! MTD 374.79

083111 40.06 miles MTD 414.85 miles. The first 20 miles was fun avg. 14.5 mph The return 20 was headwind city! I thought I had a crosswind with a slight headwind going turned back to find not only did I not have a crosswind/tailwind I had a full blown (on pun intended) headwind! Then just after I got to town I had a flat! Thank God I had grabbed to frame pump a week or so ago. Pumped it up got home and pumped it up at home to see what happens; well three hours later it is FLAT! So new tube will go in after inspection of tire and wheel for hole makers (I know I have hit glass twice but think I had to have picked something up as I returned to town if not as I entered town! Then new tube in and flat tube repaired or replaced! On to september!!

I'm in for 200 again. Barely squeezed by last month(Ha, last NIGHT!), but I'm off to a good start today.

8/01: 30 miles

Good Luck everybody!

I'm in for 150 this month. I was down for 150 last month and only got to 84 miles. I had a spoke break over a week ago and it's getting fixed as I type so I may get a ride in this evening or in the morning.
