Falconi Jersey & Bib Shorts **Pics Inside**

Recently a bunch of people have been wondering how the jerseys fit and look so I figured I would snap a few pictures off tonight to try and help someone out. I know this wont work for many as their size may be different, but I hope it helps out in someway.

I wear 2XLT or 3X shirts, I am a 46 waist and weight 347 pounds. I am not sure of my chest size but I wear a size 54-56 sports jacket at the moment, just to give you an idea of my size.

First we have a 2fer Falconi Jersey in size 5x, this is a bit more relaxed fit than my other jersey, quality has been great so far and the pockets hold water bottles just fine. I ride with the bottles in my back pockets as I am not comfortable reaching for the cages yet, typically 2-3 bottles in the back pockets.

Next we have the Falconi Bib shorts in size 3XL, the quality and fit are terrific. These are easily the best cycling purchase I have made to date, and look at the picture if I can wear them, ANYONE can wear em! They make riding so much more comfortable.

And last we have the Suarez Love2Pedal jersey in size 5XL. This one is a bit tighter than the Falconi ones but it's still very comfortable and not constricting to me at all.

I hope the pictures can help a few of you out who are on the fence about buying or picking the correct size, I will tell you Love2Pedal has amazing customer service and a very generous return policy!

Thanks Man. Really appreciate the fashion show. It helps. Guess I'm not buying a jersey until I ride some more.

Those 2009 photos feature a lighter, smaller Neil B. I'm almost afraid to wear it in public now. :-(

You menfolk are so lucky! those jerseys don't pooch out in weird ways and they look pretty smooth. I got a few new Athena jerseys this last week and one was fine, but the other fluffed out at my waist and made my back look pregnant.

Your stuff looks great! Congrats on finding it!

I just ordered a pair of 4x bibs (non deluxe) from l2p. My Athena is trying a pair of their shorts, but she prefers a capri or tight.

The deluxe and non-deluxe bibs are both available in a 2 pack. Which kind do you have? Dan said the non-deluxe run bigger then the deluxe version.

I realize this isn't directed at me, but I'm wearing the "non-deluxe" in my photos.

Interesting, thanks for 'modeling' these photos. I have been looking for cycling clothes for my wife, who happens to be an Athena, and has a hard time finding clothes that fit.

I did not really have time to pose and strike a smile

It was hit the shutter and run to the background just before it took the photo.

@green427 they have many options, I bet she can find something that fits well.

Thanks guys for taking the time to post the photos and for the positive comments.

I sympathize with the difficulty in buying items that fit. There is no standardization of sizing and a big variation in body shape for any given weight, so these photos are a great reference.

I wear the shorts, Falconi 3XXXL.

Yellow stitching. Waiting while the team mechanic from my support vehicle works on my bike.

Thanks. The deluxe version 2 pack is $64: https://www.love2pedal.com/Items/Item...%20of%20Colors

I hear they run a little smaller.

So my falconi bibs just arrived. I have to say the quality looks great. Not sure if I should suit up and go riding though. I got a 4XL in the regular non-deluxe version, which Dan says runs bigger, on account that I'm 6'1x380. Even still I seem to have plenty of room (not much compression), and the leg elastic actually hangs loosely by an extra inch or so. I wouldn't want to go much tighter on the shoulders though.

So the conumdrum is to keep these and wear em or go back to the drawing board with perhaps the deluxe version in 4x or even the standard version in a 3x.

Guess I gotta go email Dan. It's a bummer because I really wanted to try them out today.

Hey Rock: Are your's spandex all the way up through the straps? I can't tell from the pics. Mine switch to mesh on the upper portion and straps, and don't seem to have the same panel construction that yours have on the back. Also my rubber sewn in lable just says "falconi", without the falcon head sticking up from the letters. I'm guessing you might have the deluxe version that cost more, or else they changed them a bit recently.

Pachy, I apologize...I ordered the regular version but when they arrived there was a note in the bag that mine were upgraded to the deluxe version, slipped my mind when I posted.

They are spandex all the way through the straps.

Pachy, take them for a test ride. IIRC you said you have a 60 inch waist. People with 60 inch waists aren't proportioned the way other people are. ( I was there. ) My guess is that as long as the shorts keep your manhood in place - btw, the gear is stowed up, not to the side - and the pad doesn't slide around under you when riding you will be OK. The straps are supposed to feel tight when you are standing up, since they are designed for a rider in a riding position. (If you look at Rock31's butt - look, don't stare - you will see his shorts bag when he stands.)

Do they at least cling to your waist? Or widest circumfrence?

Yep, they fit my waist. I split the difference and ordered the deluxe version seen above in the pictures. I'll keep the two that fit best and return the other two. It's what I should have done in the first place.
