MBR (Miss bumble Rides Again) Ride 4

Ok so Ride 3 avg was 12 and about 16 miles....

Ride 4 - Avg 15 and 15.6 miles. I set out around 8:30AM a little late for FLA.... and rode along. After a few miles....a group came riding by and I joined up with them. What a great group of women. They took me under their wing and made me feel so comfotable. One strong rider moved me ahead of her and made sure i did not fall behind... and when I did she waited for me and caught me up to the group. At times I debated is it better to fall off and go 13 instead of working so hard to stay with the group at 17-18? Well i asked her and she said you can do it, hang in there.... it made a huge difference and now I am one happy Bee. My goa is to get back into cycling and go do centuries (probably only the 65 metric oncle as I am not as excited about doing the 100's I have done before.....cop out I know). It's as if I just want a ticket to the game.

The other thing - since this is the Clydesdale/Athena forum - is I do not want to look like an overstuffed sausage either. So 2 goals...be able to go out and ride distance in this heat and at a good speed where I can join groups. and 2) Look better doing it. So for a number of reasons I want to lose weight again. This week I am down 5 pounds... so on a SmoothieShakedown plan...then I will go back to the usual diet....

Enjoy your rides today!
