Ok If we could say i started last week then I lost 5 lbs on my diet! The Smoothie Shakedown... 2 smoothies, tons of veggies, and all stuff that's disgustingly good for you...2 TBS Flax Seed Oil, 2 Tbs Ground Flax seed... 1 meal a day with 4-6 oz protein....lots of water... and Fat Flush Whey Protein Shakes or Body protein... 2x day with fruit and whatever else vegggie wise or Flax Seed Oil.

So let's make it offical.
191 for the Bee Checking in....

OK I know I should not do this but I am going to go look up the orginal Biggest Loser Thread and look at my weight. I might need cheering up!!

Ok _ Just saw what i poted onthe first BL thread - 9/29 08:
Backi n the day: 9/29/2008: I wrote:

"PINK TEAM CHECKING IN!

OK - Here I am 5'7.5 weight 188.5 (down 1.5 from last week yay!!! for a Total Weight loss since April 21 of ....38 pounds)
Goals for the upcoming week:
Weight Loss: 1 pound
Ride: 25+ on Saturday, 80 (My longest) in a charity ride Sunday (Tony Serrano Ride)
Tuesday, Wedensday, Thursday, Friday 40 minutes of cardio on elliptical or stair climber.
Lots of Subway sandwiches for lunch and or dinner (1/2 a sub - Wheat, chicken breast, 2 squares cheese, mustard, lettuce , tomatoe, baked lays and diet coke...) Try it - amazingly better choice then hitting a restaurant in Chicago!
Water Goal: Drink alot!

Ultimate Weight Goal: 145-140 - Sexy Sue!
Ultimate Bike Goal: Keep up with the Bike Group on the Sky Loop (hilly) "

Ok so Here i am again..... almost same weight and I gues still battling the weight. I moved to Florida - and started up biking agin. Today's ride was 30 miles and woo whee it's hot! So I am glad I am riding agian and hopefully will be losing again here soon!!!!

Ack. I am still flip flopping around 119. I am currently 119. Last week I was 118.4 with a goal of 118 by this Monday. Didn't make it so I am moving my goal ahead to next week. I want 118 by next Monday, dang it. Started in December at 158. Almost down 40 pounds, went from obsese, to overweight and now technically normal on the BMI chart but my body fat is too high yet so I am still overweight. Goal is 110.

Ordinarily I average 1200 calories a day, which brought me down a good pound a week for months. Currently averaging close to 1400 a day. I think I might have some miscounts with eating out a lot--hard to estimate calories in food you do not cook. This is causing a bit of flip flop in the weight loss.

04/09/11 287.6
07/03/11 286.2
07/17/11 283.5
08/06/11 278
08/19/11 277
09/05/11 275

And going.. very little change to diet since I don't want to make this one of those things you do for a month and then eat a **** load to celebrate you've done it.
I've cut coke on ALL meals, exceptions are 1-2 times a month when I order/cook something that asks for a coke.
no desserts on weekdays. that's pretty much all that I changed on my diet. I still eat at McDonalds, steak houses, Red Robin and cook steaks, ribs, pork shoulders..
Eventually I will have to start decreasing those, probably will start with McDonald's and Red Robin may be only twice a month.
I ride 4 times a week to work ~30 miles round trip, and wife permitting "almost never" I ride on weekends

I need to become accountable again. Fell off the wagon, stopped checking in here, stopped journaling cals in and out, and gained some back. Highest weight this year on 1/1/2011 was 255, lowest weight this year was 222 somewhere in late July. Getting a fresh start beginning now.

9/4/2011 - 227

With the crappy weather this week it's not going to be easy but whoever said things worth working for were ever easy. 200 lbs here I come!

2002 Weight 252lbs, average speed 13mph, average distance 15 miles.
2007 Weight 231 lbs average speed 15 mph, average distance 30 miles
2009 Weight 224 lbs average speed 16 mph average distance 30 miles
2011 Weight (as of today) 206 lbs, average speed 18mph, average distance 30 miles.
There is an extrreemly good possibility I will break the 200 Lb barrier (for the first time sence 1993)before Christmas and be able to keep the weight off as I go into the snowshoeing season and then a new cycling season.
I'll be 69 Christmas Day and into year 4 sence the double bypass.
I recieve my 10,000 mile patch this season and am in the process of closing in on my 5k patch with the second club I ride with.
I now factually climb hills! (not at any great clip but I don't get off the bike..ever)
And,,oh yeah...thanks to agent orange I sort of ride with 56% Fev1 lung capacity.

Thank you so much for sharing and for your service in Nam. I had stopped posting because of the dreaded plateau but still keep my weight record and your post will have me checking in here Monday. Your average speed is awsome! Time to check in to those Senior Games. Beautiful country in western NY.
