My First 20

I just started riding last week, and completed my first 20m ride today!!! Feel great and exhausted at the same time.

On my way back, about .25m from the house, I stopped to have a beer & chicken wings... Oh well, all the good I just did with the ride, I put it back on in the pub...

A beer and chicken wings is a real man's food.

How about the 140 lb weanie who stops at a juice bar for carrot juice and some celery sticks?

Actually I live in Lederach, only about 10 miles from Phoenixville. What's SRT? You guys wouldn't mind a slow beginner on a hybrid tagging along?

Also thanks everyone for the words of encouragement.. The hills were a BEAR!!!

Schuylkill River Trail. We are meeting at the 'dog park' on Longford Road in Mont Clare at 9 AM. It's a trailhead on the SRT, so there's lots of parking. As for a slow guy on a hybrid, I'm riding so we have that role covered. You will have to be a faster guy on a hybrid. :-)

Seriously, join us for the ride. We have a small group and there's room for more people.

I was reminded I have church obligation Sunday, so I won't be able to make the ride...Keep me in mind for others... I'm sure I will be the slow guy on a hybrid... Can't wait to ride with you guys one day soon!!

Want to meet later? I'm game. Or a glutton for punishment. Name a time.
