New Adaptive Cycling subforum

I think the new Adaptive Cycling subforum is a pretty neat place. I hope to learn a lot posting there. Drop on by, especially if you have some mechanical background.... someone just posted a photo of their adaptation of a bike so they can operate the brakes and shifting with the left hand alone. Neat stuff.

Agreed... come here as a builder and fabricator and as someone with a disability that has required me to make adaptations to my bicycles and my riding technique so that I might continue to enjoy this great past time.

I have been inspired by many who have overcome much greater challenges than myself and hope that in the future I will be able to combine a background in rehabilitation with my fabrication skills to help people overcome obstacles that might prevent them from enjoying cycling.

Cannot walk well and have many limitations on my activities but cycling lets me stay far more active than I would be otherwise and has helped me regain a far better measure of health.
