Pactimo clothing for clydes question

It seems our team is seriously considering a switch to Pactimo clothing. I am still a clyde, but know I will fit into it, but there are guys on the team that are bigger, and I am hoping they will be able to fit into the new clothing if we go that way. According to Pactimo's fit guide, I would be about a 2XL in the bibs, whereas I am a L to XL in other brands including Voler. Is this sizing correct? If this is so, then a 4XL won't fit at least 5 people on the team, as they have it at a 42" waste.

If you are a clyde and rocking some Pactimo clothes, if you can, provide your build and the model and size you wear.

Thanks!

If you have 5 people on the team that won't fit their sizes, then why is the team even remotely considering the switch?

Our team used Pactimo the first 3 years. Pactimo's are very good fit although the quality of the materials & workmanship sometimes wasn't the best. Also, their customer service (& turn-around times) left a lot to be desired (hence the switch in year 4).

I'm 6'3" tall with short legs. I wear 40 waist pants (too big, but 38 is too tight) with a 32 inseam. I ride a 60cm bike. I wear a 50/52 jacket and usually an XL or XXL T-shirt size.

With Pactimo, I got away with a XXL bib short and an XXL jersey. I really could have used a XXXL jersey, though.

I cannot compare to Voler (never had them).
  • Castelli? Pactimo bibs are the same, but slightly tighter jersey.
  • Hincapie? Pactimo is tighter, bibs & jersey.
  • B-Emme? Pactimo bibs are the same, but tighter jersey.

Thanks mkadam for that. So it does seem their fit is smaller than Voler.
