My first ride of the new year!

I have been off the bike for about 8 months now. My family and i decided to do a biggest loser for the year and I think its the motivation I needed to get back on the bike and lose some of this darn weight. I did a spinervals session on the trainer last night and then rode an easy 10.35 miles this afternoon. Its been a while but I was able to maintain 15.0 mph so I am pretty happy with that! It felt great to get back on the road and if I do good with it I may reward myself with a new mountain bike as I have been wanting to hit some offroad trails! I have my ticker setup so lets see how good I do!

First ride is tomorrow (to work), had three days of dancing with the doctor to start the year - really happy to saddle up tomorrow. Especially considering the "dance".
