LoseIt.com

Does anyone else use lose it? It's a great way to track calories in/calories out.

It also has a "friends" feature that creates a "feed" much like facebook where you can share your progress and stuff with others.

Feel Free to send me a friend request (Nick Owensby)... I'd love to have others on there to help push each other.

I lost 50lbs using the iPhone app... I don't bother with the website or the social aspects though, mostly because they weren't around when I started using the app.

I haven't used that one, but I use myfitnesspal.com all the time. It has an iPhone app that works really well.

I started using this full-time back in February. As of then, I'm down 24lbs. Definitely up for some followers/supporters/etc. My username is "RandyHammons".

I use it on my Android. I'm down 18 pounds since I started using it. I've never counted calories in the past. It really changed the way I look at my calorie intake. Plus it's nice to see the nutritional effect of my diet on my performance on the bike (I log all my rides on Loseit).

I too, having seen these posts, have joined Lose-it. I like the interface and as I get more of my food loaded in, it'll be easier to keep it up. I have it on my droid phone too, so I can keep up. It's listed under my given name Tom Timmons. I'll look for a couple of you guys and we'll all keep up together.

Using any method to keep yourself accountable is a great idea. I use MyNetDiary on the iPhone...same idea.

Signed up on Sunday, I like the logging alot better than mapmyride, plus it doesn't drain my phone battery when I run it nearly as much.

I'm jptingle68

Still on hold.... I've not been cleared yet to start a weight-loss program. Still too soon after surgery.

I had the same issue, but have come to embrace the calories lost to riding as I'm down almost two lbs when I weighed in on Friday. Lose-it really helps me watch the calories on the weekends when I used to go crazy...

Agreed, I never realized how much of a maniac I could eat like some days. I think we can all agree that we can never really know the exact amount of calories burnt, or really calories we can intake with out seeing a medical specialist. I think we can agree loseit is the next best thing. I'm on a plan to lose a pound a week and as of this morning (its been one week) I've lost 4.

It's also pretty neat you can log other things too, I'm going to a barbecue at my brother in laws today and most every yard game we're playing is log-able.

I used lose it a lot last year but the past couple months have been rough, I'm going to make a point to get back on it.
