I find it harder to track when I think I'm going off the wagon and I don't lose weight when I'm not riding. Chef, unless that 84 mile ride took two days you can't eat that much and pedal I suspect if you tried to eat that much on a ride that long it would make you sick. Saturday I tried to keep up with the fast guys as they softpedaled the first 10 miles. It was more like "holding on for dear life" than keeping up but the effort in the first 10 miles made me drag the last 10 miles then Sunday I rode 59 miles at a slower pace (14mph avg) gave me 130 miles over the 3 day weekend. Got to get ready to ride my age (70) in May. By the end of May I should be below 250 for the first time in 10-15 yrs

I am having a tough two weeks. This weeks WI I was up 6 pounds. I hardly tracked this last week due to work traveling. 6 pounds is a $hit load. I did eat a big lunch and dinner right before the WI but still. I need to get back on track TRACKING!

I weighed in this morning and I am down 1.4 for the week. It has taken me 3 weeks to lose what I gained in 1 week on vacation.

Peanut butter is tough stuff on WW. It tastes really good but the points add up quickly!!

Until next week...onward and downward!

Official weigh-in this morning, the 15th week since I posted the OP: Lost another 2.4 pounds! Total weight loss over the 15 weeks is 24.2, for an average of 1.6 pounds lost per week. I'm proving to myself that the WW program works - I just follow the plan and don't worry. After a while it seems too easy. I'm learning that when weeks come by where I gain a little weight, I just look at the entire picture starting with day 1 and feel encouraged again.

No change this week, in spite of the fact that I rode 170 miles this week. I think part of the problem was I was riding to many miles I ate some things I shouldn't have. Got to tighten down I need to get rid of this weight. My riding has improved so much after losing 22+lbs I want to see what it's like after 50lbs

I find the more I ride in a week, sometimes it does not show at the scale at all, sometimes it shows next week. I hate that. Busted out an 83 miler last Sunday and bombed the WI on Tuesday with a 6 pound gain!

This week, I have over 250 activity points from riding. I hope to God that there is some change and not another gain!!!!!!!!!!

Fifteen weeks since I started WW and posted the OP: Another 1.2 pounds lost this week, still losing at the rate of 1.6 pounds per week! Total weight loss is now 25.4 pounds. My blood pressure this morning 110 over 65 with an RHR of 45. Thanks Weight Watchers, Bicycling and Walking!

Great work!

I'm struggling a bit at the moment. I've had "manageable" gains the last 3 weeks. I'm working to get back into a routine with my new job and to get on the bike more often now that the weather seems to be cooperating more!

We went to weigh in on Saturday. I'm now at 12 stone 7 lb's, (that's 175lb's) my target weight . I've now got to try and keep it there. Feel much better and fitter than I haver done for years.

I've got the rest of this week at the same school, just 7 miles from home so I might try to cycle in in the weather is good. I don't fancy arriving at work wet but don't my a little rain on the way home.

Not really per say. I had a 6 pound gain two weeks ago but I was traveling and just ate dinner before making it to the meeting. Plus I have been riding a lot.

I made a mistake, it's actually 16 weeks . . . . I'm still jazzed with how successful WW is!

Official Week 17 Weigh-In is 247.6, another 2 pounds lost. I'm going to become a WW spokesperson I think - simply follow the plan, then get the results. Total weight loss is 27.4 pounds at an average loss of 1.6 pounds per week!

You better be riding your bike (with a helmet) when you are the spokesperson!

My wife and I joined weight watchers on line three weeks ago.
We both enjoy it. It is a great place to track your eating and exercising habits. I have tried fitness journals in the past, but quit after a while. We have been amazed at the number of people who have or are on ww. We have received so many food tips from them.
I suspect we will continue ww after our goal weights are reached. I have gone from 216 to 203 in three weeks. My goal is to get below 200 next week, and get to an overall goal of 190 in a month and a half. My wife has lost 9 pounds in the same time period.
