I know I am going to have to pay the piper on Wednesday. Eating better yes and riding more but still paying for some bad choices I made the last two weeks.

That's funny - My wedding ring got real loose too, so I now keep it in my pocket. I'll get it resized when I hit goal weight lol ♪ ♫

Weighed in this morning and was up .2lb.....We have to write down one change we will make every week in conjunction with the weekly topic so this week I have committed to track on paper this week as opposed to using the online app. If I was closer to my goal I would say I'll have no problem maintaining (because I seem to lose a couple and then stay the same or have small gains) but I still have about 30lbs to go. I'm hoping the act of using pen and paper will give me a boost in my journey.

down 4.8 over last 2 weeks (didn't get to weigh in last week). Much more bike riding and yard work now that it's gotten warmer. Next goal, 10% in another 2.2 lbs.

My 10% is 3 lbs away. Hoping for this week, but I've only lost one per week for the last 3 or 4 weeks. Still a big week to push me over the hump would be awesome.

Edit: 1 lb per week is fine - probably healthier than losing a carpload of weight fast. Listen to Trac!

Yeah, I know 1 pound per week is good, but I just see that 10% line out there in front of me, so close, but not there yet.

I've been "doing" WW for about 2.5 years but in reality I did it for a few months and then slacked off and only went with my wife and Inlaws. I started back up for real in January but they've all reached goal and stopped going at this point so I'm on my own now. It's good though because now I'm doing it for me. Since I started I've lost 71.2 pounds total and 42.2 since January 17th. My short term goal is 300 by June 1st and yesterday I weighed in at 301!

l congrats on almost the goal. I have to say, if half-assing it for 2 years still got you a 30 pound loss, that doesn't seem all that bad to me. I slack off and the weight goes up. Might not have been as fast as you'd have liked, but still, you were dropping. Going faster now is even better. Keep it up.

Just back from my weigh in and was up .4lb. I had a good week in both tracking and activity so I'm not too worried. I'll just continue on and next week hopefully it should show up on the scale.

dropped two pounds today and finally broke my first 10% barrier. If I make the next one, I'll be nearing my goal.

Weighed in this morning and was down 1 lb. That takes me into new weight loss for a total of 67 lbs and getting close to a loss of 30% and 27lbs to reach my Dr.'s goal for me.

I hit my 10% last weigh in. I seem to go about a .5, .5, 4. It's happened 3 time in 16 weeks. I looked back at what i was eating and doing, and it didn't vary much. Strange.

I am thinking of joining WW. It will be the wife and I. 90.00 a month is kind of costly for us at the moment. Wondering if they ever offer discounts[I searched but no luck] or if there is a program kind of like it.BillMC

WW is wonderful. They offer a few different types of memberships. One is online only which works and they have a wonderful forum like this one. And the other is the monthly pass which is the meetings and also online. I use the monthly pass bc it offers a lot of tools to help along the way. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have more questions.

if you have a health care flexible spending account at work you can have your doctor fill out a medical necessity form and pay for it with the spending account and save some tax $. One thing about paying for it makes you not want to waste the $$ and you'll work a little harder at it.

Yeah, that's true. When I'm paying the money ($20 a month for online only because I don't want the social interaction part), I feel like I don't want to waste it to slack off. Occasionally, I'll still grab a little bite or two of some snacking food intending not to track it, but, by the end of the day, I always do.

Weighed in yesterday morning and was down .6lb which makes a total of 67.6 lbs now. My next little goal is to hit my 70lbs by my birthday in a couple of weeks. Need to keep focused for the next couple of weeks and get some good rides in.
