Zero to 20 all at once.

Each evening I prepare to commute into work something comes up. Got to be home by a certain time to do this, work dinner that, etc. This is all just to get my first major ride in of the year.

So..... on Thursday I have eye surgery (putting lasers in my eyes) at the end of the day. Wife is picking me up to go there. That morning I'm going to do the 20.3 mile commute to my shower place then a 2.6 mile leisurely pedal into work (to avoid sweating).

I plan on laying on the floor of my office and crying around mid-morning.

When you get the lasers put in your eyes, you have to worry about a front light on your bike anymore. Pretty awesome.

I got my eyes done about 8 years ago. The best thing I've ever done.
Not sure what they will do when you are finished but they set me up and asked me to look at a clock on the wall and tell them what time it said. My response was...

There's a clock?

Good luck

Thanks all. I may try the old "Squish a few grapes in my hand and put them up to my eyes" trick.

A friend of mine goes in 15 minutes after I do so I'm going to see if there is an opportunity to cause her "concern".

How would I find the water cooler?

Dark glasses, red tipped white cane, etc.
"Your turn"
