First outdoor ride of the season. Good to be back.
So I kind of fell off the wagon the last few months of last year. Was doing rather well then I just got in a bad place for a bit. Starting 5 weeks ago I decided to get back on the wagon. Started working out 6 days a week, including 7-10 mile runs on the recumbent stationary. I'm glad to be down to 255 as of today's weigh in, sadly I cant remember the last time I was in the 250's. Feels damn good too.
So today it's 75 degrees in Milwaukee, it's March, this is unheard of. Couldn't waste it. Did 13.25 miles on the Hank Aaron State Trail that runs through the city here. Was trying to keep off the roads. Milwaukee gets pretty rowdy on St. Pats day.

I bet Milwaukee is wild on St. Patty's day -- it was MADE for St. Patty's day.
Got out in shorts today -- glad that Spring has sprung. Welcome back!

That is so awesome that you were able to get out on the bike today. Here in Western Washington it snowed and hailed today. I feels like I have not been outside on a bike forever. I finished building up a bike for my wife a month ago and she has only ridden on the trainer, hasn't even taken it outside yet. I hope our weather improves soon.

@troutbreath, To make it worse there is an Irish bar 4 doors down the block from me. It's been out of control all day, it's almost midnight and I dont see any signs of slowing down yet.
@Smoked, It has been a super weird winter here this year. Very mild. I was actually out hiking in late January because there was no snow and just a little bit of ice on the trails this season. Of course we have been known to get snow in April here, so we may yet pay for our nice weather. I dont think our summer started until mid July last year.
