A couple of errands today, dropped off a load of scrap metal with the scrap metal man, then collected a couple of parts for the car. It feels odd turning up at the car dealership to get car parts, on a bike. Then since the forecast for the week so far has been rain and the actual weather has been sunny, today the forecast was for sun and... well, guess what. And I got caught in it. Never mind, it gave me a reason to go a bit faster and also showed me that I need a rear guard on the rack to stop the spray going up my back. Oh well...

Up to 96 miles as of this morning's commute. Planning a metric century tomorrow if the storms hold off. Looking like a 200+ mile month for sure.

Last week 225km. This week 230km. had to skip a day on the bike due to being sick. still 1000 miles in 2 months isn't bad. Have to try to 1250 miles in the next 2 months.

I've been off the bike for a week straight, driving from Florida to Connecticut and stopping in to visit relatives in two states. I'm heading to the bike shop this morning to hopefully pick up my new bike, a Jamis Coda Comp. It is in, but I'm having a few things changed and I'm not sure if they will have it done today. I got in 52.9 miles before I left Florida, so I'm hoping for another 200 mile month. I have a job interview on Tuesday, so if I go back to work, that could change. I do really need to go back to work though!

+43.09 miles. 28 mph sustained wind, gust to 41 mph. Took me a bit more than 4 hours.
+5.51 more for a quick trip to LBS to get an adjustment.

After a week of no riding due to driving up the East Coast and stopping to visit family, I got a short 16 mile ride in on my new Jamis Coda Comp. Puts me at 69.5 for the month. After riding in Florida all winter, the hills in my area seemed just a bit longer today.

Even with almost a full week off for spring break, I hit 170 miles today, which puts me well on the way to my goal of 250. So I was feeling pretty good until Mr. Sinister came along.
Seriously, there are some people here who rack up the miles, kudos to all of you.

A bit breezy today but not as bad as yesterday. 10-15 with a gust to 22mph and an air temp between 57° and 62°F. Added another 63.77 miles. Nice ride, if I go much farther unsupported or in warmer temps I'll have to either start using my hydration pack or get bigger water bottles or both.
