How do you get it to show you climbing? I think I"m at about 4k for the month despite avoiding all hills that I don't live on.

Skipped my commute ride today as my intention was to lead a 21 mile ride at my Boy Scout troop meeting (I'm the Scoutmaster) while the younger boys went on a 10ish mile ride. Sadly only my son was willing/able to go for the longer distance, and I did not have an adult available to go along with the younger boys that we all just did 9.78 miles at a rather slow hour plus 5 minutes. I guess I'll call it a recovery ride. I think the boys had fun and hopefully are learning about physical fitness, which was the point this month.

Will have ~67 by the end of the day (pending commute home). Planning on commuting on Friday, too...which will be a first for me (3 times in one week).

I'm new to the sport. I would like to do 200 total miles by May 8th(Started riding on 4/8/12), so I'm going to shoot for 150 miles by the end of April. I'm currently at 46.77 on endomundo and strava. Going to try to get atleast 10 more in tonight.

IBOHUNT - that's a screen shot from STRAVA, which you can either use with the phone app or by uploading GPS data from say, a garmin (which is what i do). if you have a smart phone, there are a variety of apps that will automagically track your mileage, speed & other interesting things and upload them for you. I recommend it.

TJ horse is correct. Alos bikejournaldotcom works well. Only 4 colums of info with the free but with the paid membeship ($20 per year) you get as many columns and if you enter ele-gain, it will add it all up for you as well.

Stara does it for free though if you got a garmin or equiv.

have a feeling I am going to come up short this month... 13 days off the bike went out for a fun ride this morning since I had the day off for a school function with my daughter... was not feeling it the first 3 miles but then the enjoyment kicked in for the last 6 and were a breeze and a pleasure... 53.9 so far...

No GPS or smart phone. Heck, I still have a phone dial that goes in circles out here.
Looks like I stick with the spreadsheet

Strava has a manual feature too so if you know the data you could add it that way.

Hit 207 as of this morning. Thinking I'll beat out last month's 224 by a fair amount if the weather plays nice.

You can also use mapmyride or ridewithgps if you want to map routes and track mileage. It's not as snappy as GPS but it'll work!

Did an extra 25mi after work, pouring rain, thunder & lightening, windy and cold. Sometimes I question my stance on sadomasochism.

Really not happy this month. Had been looking forward to the ride down to visit my dad. It's a good ride - a little over 80 miles - and most of it is on fairly quiet roads so there's not a lot of traffic to contend with. But the weather is so bad lately, and so changeable, and I just don't fancy cycling that distance through thunderstorms and torrential rain.

Scratched the ride down yesterday but figured I might do it today. Today the weather was worse. I got a ride in with a friend and got soaked, but at least it's a soaking no more than a couple of miles from one of our homes.

Apr 04 - 27 miles
Apr 05 - 2 miles
Apr 06 - 21 miles
Apr 06 - 18 miles
Apr 11 - 31 miles
Apr 13 - 10 miles
Apr 16 - 38 miles
Apr 19 - 14 miles

MTD - 161 miles
YTD - 1290 miles

Thanks.
I use both to get my elevation gain and neither of them agree.

For the same route ridewithgps has 25.7 miles and 1596' where mapmyride has the route at 25.8 miles and only 1161' of gain. Not sure why the elevation would be different.

https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/83051645

I know it might not be as accurate as a GPS but ain't no way I am paying for a dag gum $20/month data plan for an iPhone or Android deal. I won't even pay for an app.
