Welp I didn't get to ride last week but twice. A total of 16 miles...booo so today I worked my ususual 10hr day and came home instead of gym. Said f it and filled hydration pack pumped tires tight and hopped on roa d and turned on the map my ride app. I hit some familiar roads and just pedaled along kept and averegae cadence of about 73rpms and a speed of 12mphish. I only had 1 dog issue and it def got my heart pumping like crazy. Took about a 5 min break at 13miles to adjust and stretch than hopped back on and just road than hit some new roads(on my bike) in my car I never noticed it was a steady uphill. Well ofcourse going uphill had to be in headwind..fml. I just chugged along at a slow pace. Got to a friends at exactly 20 miles. Hung out and relaxed for 20min. It got dark and I had to get goin. So I rigged up my headlight(flashlight tethered on with my livestrong bracelet lol) and pedaled the 5 miles home... so yea that's my first 25 mile ride!!!!! Woot a month after getting myy bike and i'm a quarter to my goal!!!! Yay me now I know I need new pedals and a better seat dunno if i'm brave enough to"clip in" but I do need a more comfortable seat than my stock giant comfort one
