YAY!!! Friday Night Bike Stuff!

Been working OT lately so naturally the pay off is bike stuff!

I feel like riding the tandem this weekend so a new Gatorskin for the rear. We'll see what the big deal is about these tires though I've had bad luck with them in the past. $55 special at Performance (wire bead). Hope they are better this time around.

Couple pair of PI socks ($6.99 each on sale)

Some $29.99 sale tights for Gina. She has a thing about tights. I don't argue cause I enjoy watching her try them on.

Also a Performance Forte brand saddle. Looks like a terry Fly knock off. Read lots of good stuff online reviews about this cheapo. If it doesn't work out, I'm only out $39.99 so why not give it a try!. Nashbar has the Fly (cromo version) for $64 but I aint got the patience to be waiting around for the mailman in the next two weeks.

Ready for a tandem weekend!

Yup! I don't really care for OT but the others all chose to do it so I sort of kind of have to in an attempt to keep from looking bad. Did 10 hour shifts all this week so next week's check will be a bit healthy. When I get the "I wanna go home" feeling, I just get to asking myself, "what other bike stuf do I want?

I find that buying stuff for my wife's bike is 80% as satisfying as buying it for my bike. I don't get hassled as much either.

You know- I suggests one and she wouldn't have anything to do with it. I guess she tried one with a dingbat friend and hated it. She's on her own for pedal power now!
