My first Fifty!

I did my first fifty (actually, 48.6 because I turned to quick at the end, and missed a loop) today. Pretty uneventful, I was up to 40 miles on Tuesday in 85 degree heat. A cold front moved through Thursday, making todays weather very rider friendly.

I made the ride by myself (my wife had signed us up for it, then bailed out) and the only exciting thing that happened was when another riders rear light fell off, bounced off the ground, and then hit my bike. It was in several pieces after I hit it.

This was my big goal for the Summer, so you know what that means...Time to find another goal! Luckily, I just got a flyer in the mail this week for a ride in September.
