Dawn to Dusk Ride is Coming Soon

Last year my one brother inlaw and i rode 322.4km to complete our first ever double century and we had so much fun we are doing it again this year but with our other brother inlaw. We learned a lot of lessons last year, stuff like what to eat, and what you get sick of and that everything hurts at 250km but seems to go away. Last year I had a shifter break early in the ride and lost an hour of ride time while wife brought out my other bike so we could have made it further. We are hoping with one other rider to help take turns out front we can add on to our total distance with a goal of 340km but in reality we just want to ride all day and do it as fast as we can. Last year we had little to no wind but what we did have was a headwind and we still managed a 29.2kph average, we are gunning for 30kph this year. Also last year I was riding around 230-235lbs and this year I'll be doing it between 205-210 and my partner is down from 195-180lbs. We have also done a lot more training, he has 5800km on and I have 7000k. I'm getting pretty excited, really looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish this year. It's going to be a blast and I can already taste the beer and pizza at the end.

Sounds like an awesome ride....and quite an accomplishment! Please post pix and give a full ride report!
If at first you don't succeed, Skydiving is not the sport for you!
