that would be a tad bit lighter gear then I'm running with 34/23. I wouldn't stress too much about it, unless you have a hard time climbing for a length of time. If so your 2nd bike would be a better option. Remember the village is about 2.5-3 hrs of climbing away.

Thanks JSI I have thought about brining the Bianchi instead, but the Colnago is a better climber, so I will stick with her.

Besides, if I am going to be climbing, I might as well "channel" Thomas Voeckler and go up on the C59.

C'ya on Saturday.

Correction...I have 1004 miles as of last Sunday. I took Monday and today off.

OK, so standard crank it is.

TH, notting' wrong with the Infinito. The C59 is a better climber. And then there is that Voeckler-Colnago C59-TdF KOM thing going on.

After the pillage of the Village, er I mean assault, You guys really need to come ride in Ventura. Some hills, strawberry fields (forever), alpacas and llamas and the blue Pacific.

Yeah, we'll do it. Alpacas and Llamas are not to be missed! It'll have to be on a Sunday though.

You'll be free on Saturdays after 11/24. That's the last game the Trojans will play this season.

I dont know why you guys just dont Tivo them anway, the end of all the games looks the same...trojans 0 opponents 100

OK, OK I dont even follow sports, I really have no idea what I am talking about, but its my revenge...everytime I tell any guy I dont follow sports they give me the :how can you be a man and not follow sport" so I adopted taking the opposite team as my favorite when talking to anyone who does like sports

You should hear the Tech vs UVA arguments I get going back home (and I didnt go to either school)

How is that c59...I am going to look at one this friday and would love to hear how you like yours being a clyde, and what you have on it...

They dont have any 60s in stock so I cant ride it, and that makes me nervous about ordering a bike that darn expensive without riding it.

The C59 is...to quote Ferris Buehler..."so choice, I highly recomend it."

It is as lively and responsive as my Colummbus SLX steel Bottecchia, but without the weight penalty of steel.

I have Campy Record 11 speed on it, with Campy Eurus wheels, DEDA Presa carbon handlebars and Deda NeroZero stem, also carbon.

I really love the bike. I got it last June and I have been riding it a lot. I ti smy go to bike when I want to move faster.

It is also very, very comfortable. I can ride it all day long and not feel tired or beat up.

I used to own a Litespeed Classic Ti bike. The C59 is as comfortable but a lot more responsive. I have a a sloping 50 frame.

The lugged carbon frame construction makes the bike stiff and very steady, especially on descents.

I am in love....

Last night I watched (for the billionth time) Breaking Away.

Anymore talk like that from PJ, et al., and I have my old frame pump ready. Or I can unleash an alpaca attack.

Only a twit would wear that jersey AND / OR use a disc wheel on a mountain climb.

I'm going to have to figure out how to Cinzano you with CO2 cartridges since I don't actually carry a frame pump anymore.

1) I am a twit. I've come to term with that

2) I don't have the jersey, but if funds were more available, I would have bought one just for effect

3) No pump - no need for the Zipps. Great. Get to pay my mortgage one more month!

4) My favorite team is whoever's playing against the favorite of whoever I'm with! I find it much more entertaining that way!

Oregon isn't any better!

By the way Joe - you Cinzano the front wheel, not the rear. You need double disks.

I think Joe needs to re-watch Breaking Away.

Doesn't Oregon get their uniforms free from Nike? They come up with some really odd looking, headache inducing uniforms.
