Turning the Black Knight Into an Easy Chair!

A couple new pairs of baggies w/chamois, and a Brooks B17 arriving Tuesday! I will sip coffee and read the morning paper @ 18 mph!

Follow the instructions included with the Brooks saddle on break-in. IIRC, it's one good coat of their proofhide top and bottom (get the edges too), and do NOT adjust the tension. Then ride it. Lots of short rides tend to break it in better than a couple of long ones. Well.... the saddle breaks in the same based on total mileage, but your rear end suffers less if you do the first 100 miles or so in 10-20 mile increments instead of trying to tackle a century on day one.

LOL! I don't know, my friend! I guess I thought too much suffering was part of the bicycling package.
