150 Plus Mile Club: October Edition! Time to Slip on the Warmers boys and girls!
Well well well..... hello October! Cooler month then July for sure. Leaves turning, wind blowing, and crispier temperatures.
It's time again. Time to mount up and ride.
This month is a little different. I want you to pick a number, a number you would regularly pick and then add 5%. That folks, will be your new goal for this month.
My goal: 400 miles plus 5%= 420 miles.
Who's in???
Iron Chef: 420 miles

I'm going to be on jury duty for probably 2 weeks of October so I have to lessen my total. I'm going to aim for 200km and hope to be able to do more.

how about I split the difference, so 400 + 10% : 440 for October...

According to Endomondo I hit 1630km last month so I'm going to drive for 1100 miles this month. That should be about 1760km. Got some long rides coming up so it shouldn't be too hard to pull off.

Oh for crying out loud inflation is everywhere. September admission for this club was a flat 100. Now for October You want 150 and a 5% surcharge on top of that?
Gonna work me to death but count me in for 157.5 (150+(150x.05)=157.5). I was happy with 118.5 last month and was thinking 135, but I pay my bills.

I met my 500 mile goal last month, but was thinking with it getting dark earlier my evening rides will be much shorter. I was going to say 300, but since Isaac is such a whip cracker I'll say 350.
No Isaac I haven't got my lights yet!!

Not safe for work
I rode 130 miles in September. I'm gunning for 150 miles (or more, I'd be HAPPY with more) for October.

Chef,
You "tricked" me int a 450 mile goal last month and events conspired against me.
So, I'll sign up for 5% over my normal 400 miles goal = 420 miles in October.
Let's do this!

I am still basking in my 457 for September.
I am not sure what I am going to get as I am heading north in a few days and the weather may be iffy. I am not even bringing my road bike with me, so that will reduce the miles.
Eh, I can't even guess at a goal.

Too late. I've already been wearing long sleeve jerseys, or long sleeve compression tops under my short sleeve jerseys, full-finger gloves and my wind-proof shoe covers on my last 4 or 5 rides and it's not even October yet.
