the other side is putting on a forums, I'm hoping he will change the start to Harrahs Casino. Its a great climb and pretty steady grade of 6-7% up the 13 mile climb If the climb is too much, then its always a quick decent back to the cars, but you won't know until you try From Harrah's and only up the mt it's 27 miles round trip. There are many options you can add to the plate as well.

No Way I would be comfortable with the A-group that is assembling to tackle this but if the D group decides to schedule this ride I would not hesitate

LOL I'm not keeping up the faster guys on that ride either. I know my pace and know where I blow up if I go to fast along the way and its usually around the 4k ft sign. I'll be chilling in my 34x27 Plus I might start from my house and that means I have to climb back up Cole grade to get home

34x27? When did you go soft? I thought you ran a 54x23 and locked out your lowest two gears!

haha the super6 came with a 12x27...I've been rocking that. It's a good and bad thing.... Good thing for bail out gears when riding solo in the hills but gear spacing is utter crap for trying to keep up in the club rides.

But is there PIE on this ride?

I'm tempted but really, those A listers will leave me looking at their backsides and that's not so attractive. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing on the 16th though, it'll be a game time decision.

JS - sounds like you need another set of wheels - put a corn cob on your planet X wheels and put that 12-27 on some climbing wheels and that'll be 5 cents for that sage advice.

We can go ride to pie if you want and make a full day outta it If not there is pie at the Harrah's prime rib buffet

Lately been rolling on my custom kinlin XR300s...those spin up NICE but I actually have a new wheel set coming, got a pair of spinergy xaero lite w/ PBO spokes. Should be comfy for those longer time wise rides. I still have the 11-23 on the PX wheels and I've done Palomar on those wheels too.

Sigh I need new wheels. I think I talked my wife into a truing stand for xmas so i'll practice on my old untrue open pros and then maybe build up a new set.

I see you've staked out all the pie in north county. Well done.

looks like a group is making a pie ride out this. It should be fun if the weather is nice.

I will be freezing my butt off in Ohio on the 16th...otherwise it might be worth a try.
