Before my bike rides were sidetracked by a combo of snow, bad snow riding skills, and lethargy brought on by snow, I had one last ride on Christmas Eve. There was a little bit of ice on the trail but it was that sticky ice mixed with frozen mud and did not cause a moment of trouble for me or anyone else on the trail that day. And it was a great afternoon! No wind and the temperature was hovering over 0ºC and the roads were dead quiet.

I rode my mountain bike because I'm still getting accustomed to it and it is a lot lighter than my commuter bike.
