I'm down in Cedar Lake. I'm just getting back in to the saddle for the first time in years though.

I have inlaws in Crown Point.

There are a few good charity rides in the area, if you're interested. We did the Blueberry Bicycle tour (Plymouth Blueberry Festival) for 5 consecutive Labor Day Weekends before punting last year. It's a good ride, family oriented.

Next year I will have inlaws next may in crown point. I'll have to look into the blue berry festival since I live near there. Did the tour de laporte last year it is a little closer to portage I'd say.

Here's a link for the BBFest Stuff. It's always on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. It starts and ends at an elementary school on the south end of town, and away from the crazyness that is the rest of BBFest.
