Not a Tri-Clyde !

I was pondering a local Triathlon event and looking at the Clyde category. Minimum, 220lb. What the heck! I've slipped into normalcy? I'm expected to lug this carcass around the Tri course at 215 competing against 160-somethings? I'm p*ssed, but nothing a couple of cheese pizzas a few days before can't fix.

The world is not fair. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I mean, if you are 210, just what effing advantage might you have over the other contestants? - rubbish.

to combat the 6'5" lean "Clydesdale". most wont weight you day of but a half gallon of water is 4 pounds roughly if im right. get drinking:D. unfair to the true Clydesdale but there will always be the questionable guys out there.

I was registering for a local Tri with over 600 athletes. I signed up for AG instead of Clyde as I was right on the 200# bubble (back when it was 200), came away with a podium finish (2nd place).

So what if there were only 2 of us in my AG, the Clyde class turned out to be huge and fast that day. I proudly display the podium pic and trophy. :)
