Uber-Clyde rockin' the neon yellow Lycra!!!

I travel almost every other week with an S&S coupled Bridgestone RB-1. Last week, I was riding along the Bay Trail on the west shore of the San Francisco Bay near Coyote Point. As I was sitting on a bench, watching windsurfers and kite surfers in the Bay, I was approached by two attractive young Asian women. Through broken English and pantomime, they indicated that they wanted a picture taken with me. I sat with each young lady on a bench while the other took our photo with a cell phone. I forgot to ask them to take a picture with my phone

I suspect they thought I was somebody famous, like Jason Statham. Either that or I am the largest guy they've every seen wearing neon yellow lycra. Maybe, as the song says, "I'm too sexy for my shirt ..."

Hah, yeah I feel like a giant orange sausage in the one proper jersey I have. I've not been riding in traffic so I've been sticking to the loose fit wicking shirts. More important to be visible with traffic around though.

I'm not sure at what weight I'd ever be pleased with full kit, I may just be one of the fatigue shorts brute guys, weight loss or not.

Maybe it's my monitor, but it looks to be day-glo green.

Cool pic. Great story!

I'm REALLY glad that no pictures of me exist (that I know of) in lycra.

I have almost the same outfit too. Funny story regarding the shirt though. Two or so weeks ago I nearly got killed by some jerk that came within a millimeter of dooring me (and when I say a millimeter I mean a millimeter. I felt the door just brush by my right arm). His excuse for nearly killing me? He couldn't see me...

My answer: How could you NOT see me? I look like a oversized lime green Jolly Rancher!

Thankfully I didn't get hurt. If I had hit his door I would have gotten hurt but I guarantee that his door wouldn't have come away unscathed from all 245lbs of me going 15mph hitting it.
