I live in Bowie which is 65 miles N. of Fort Worth. So far I have just been riding locally my longest trip has been 40 miles round trip. I do plan to ride the trail from Weatherford to Mineral Wells one of these days.

Carrollton here, a little on the far side.... I know there are more and closer riders. You might check w/ your LBS for a regular group.

If any or all of you ever want to ride , I'm in. I am hesitant to ride with a group from the bike shops. Seems to me there is a lot of snoots in the 2 groups I have met.

There are several of us on bikeforums.net living in Fort Worth area. You might try posting in the Texas regional forum.
Both the Fort Worth Bike Association (fwbaclub.org) and the LMRA Bicycle Club (lmrabicycleclub.com) ride in southwest Fort Worth, Benbrook, White Settlement, Weatherford, Aledo.
Guest riders are welcomed for a few rides as long as you bring a helmet and play nice. See if it works for you before joining.

I tried to send you a message but I only had 49 posts and it wouldn't let me. I guess it will now since this will be #50 .
