Took a chance, glad I did.
There's some hills around where I live, but I always avoid them because they're incredibly steep. I don't know what got into me but I decided to give them a shot today on my lunchtime bike ride. I'm glad I did. Saw some incredible scenery and had to get off the bike to take some pics.

I'm going to miss these fall rides when the snows arrive. No way I'm taking on difficult terrain when the roads are slippery.

It's always rewarding to concur hills. We may not be fast climbers, but we are the diesels of the cycling world. You might be surprised what you can make it up if you just keep chugging along. Looks like a very scenic place to ride.
