First bike since the early 90's

Hello everyone. I'm a 37 year old guy who just got my first bike since I was a kid. I had a redline bmx back back in the 80's. My kids have bikes so I figured it would be a good thing to get one for my self to ride with them and get some exercise. I'm also getting my wife one for Christmas. I was 293 lbs as of 2 months ago. I'm 269 now and all I did was change my diet and quit drinking alcohol. Trying to get back to my college football playing weight of 210-215. Go UCF knights!. So I did some research and bought a firmstrong urban shimano. It looks like it's going to be a fun bike. Here is a picture.
