New Bike -- Mrs Zoxe Cannondale
 

As I mentioned on @Beachgrad05 's new bike thread, we went to the LBS today looking for a new ride for Mrs. Zoxe.

While waiting for the sales guy to be free, we walked the rack, and Mrs. Zoxe was gravitationally pulled towards the Cannondale Synapse series. :D

We talked through a lot of options with the local guys, but weren't particular on brand. She rode a very nice carbon Scott that was in her size (it was a 2013 and marked down very nicely), but kept coming back to the Cannondale. We settled on the 105 group Synapse 5 and took her home.

Despite it being cold and windy, we are just back from a shakedown ride. Not sure of a better way to kick off the 2014 season. :thumb:

Maybe it's the frame size or the picture angle but that doesn't LOOK like a synapse - they have curved seat stays. Regardless, Mrs TH has a AL synapse as well and really likes it. Nice work hubby!

Could be the angle, or could be all the crud that my cell phone camera leaves behind. :)

It definitely looks different than they used to - here's what my wife's looks like. I think it's a 2011 or so, I don't recall. The fork looks a lot different on yours too.
