Remember the rubber side goes down

So in the last two days I have logged 6.75 miles in two trips. The first at 3 1/4. Miles on the beach with my Raleigh 29er. On that trip I tried to ride in the soft sand and put the rubber side up at the beginning of the ride, but kept on riding. This was a little embarrassing as my oldest son saw it. Note to self....don't clip in on sand.

Second trip on the Raleigh Revenio 2.0 was 3 1/2miles and I went tires up when the path turned to gravel at the start of the ride. I picked myself up and continued on. I did make it all the way up the hill past the "Pig and Pancake" to the top of the hill in Cannon Beach.

I feel pretty good considering the scraped knees. Thank goodness for ointment, and naproxen. My glucose levels are okay considering we are on vacation eating out.

Bless you all, and thank you for the continued motivation to ride.......I am down to 373 from 390 at 6' 3"
