It's alive! ;)

So the local MTB trail is closed this week... so being that i've dropped back down below 300 pounds, i decided to get out my Giant road bike... it has been sitting in a closet for the last 4 years... UGH! Sad, i know...

Hit the local rail trail for a 18.5 mile jaunt... was very nice and sunny, however it was pretty windy and the temp was a balmy 39 degrees! My first real cold weather ride in a very very long time! I will say i picked up some Under Armour upper body stuff a couple of weeks ago and i'm very impressed with it! My first experience with UA... very happy!

My Giant CF...

Probably won't ride it much more this year... BUT, the bike has already made some big commitments for next summer!

Get a trainer and plop it on there. Indoor miles are better than no miles. Setup in front of a TV or laptop. I've even played my Xbox on the trainer lol

So...... you're saying your bike came out of the closet?

It kind of looks like it wants to go fishing right now. I know that picture makes ME want to go fishing.

LOL!

My wife stuffed it in the closet... apparently she was tired of seeing it sitting in the living room...

I do a bit of fishing myself, but i do the small inland lake thing... this was actually parked next to the Bad River here in Mid-Michigan...
