Finally got back on the bike...
My mother passed away so I had to travel back "home" and didn't have an opportunity to ride especially when I needed the stress reliever most! Back home now and into my routine and was able to do some lovely rides especially with CA's nice fall weather...
Thursday night did a night ride with friends... I love riding with lights!

Friday, I took off by myself, to clear out cobwebs and rode Trabuco Creek... yes there is Fall color in California!

Saturday, a friend and I rode from the foothills down to the beach... it was a great ride down but kind of a pain going back. 17 miles, 2200 ft of climbing... El Moro State Park

Today we did an urban assault ride... The Extended Fullerton Loop. Fullerton is a city with lots of beautiful horse properties and many multi-use trails embraced by mountain bikers. No photos as I was just too busy riding and trying to keep up with my skinny friend. 18 miles, 1800 Ft of climbing. Lots of short steep hills and busy street crossings. Fun ride but you have to keep alert.
Anyway glad to be back on my bike but I am tired - will have to take tomorrow off!
