You may want to check around to be sure the building doesn't have a shower hidden somewhere. I've found them, with some help from office old-timers, in unexpected places. It seems most modern buildings have a shower, somewhere.

We almost had a shower built (manufacturing facility with lots of space), but then HR got involved... has to be ADA, have to have a second one for women, etc. What was once a $500 project just went into the thousands....
Unfortunately, there is no hidden shower.

1) Why the need to shower? Most mornings, I shower, get dressed and ready for work, head out. Commute is 5 mi to a meeting, 5 mi to the bus, 3 mi from the bus stop to work. I sweat profusely by nature, and am wet with sweat sitting through an hour meeting, on the bus, and at work. Eventually, at work, I dry off, no big deal. What is it for those of you who feel compelled to shower at work after a commute? Smell? Wetness/comfort? Appearance? For the past 10 years, I've worked places with showers at work and not used them, bike commutes varying between 11-19 mi o/w.
I do keep an emergency change of clothes at work if I need to be super presentable or get caught out in unanticipated rain with no raingear.
2) If I needed to clean up upon arrival at work and there were no showers, I'd take a page out of vandwelling protocol and use baby wipes.

I've been asked how I do it, one week in.
Wet wipes FTW! No stink more than usual, etc. But a shower would be nice. It'd be really really really nice.
