Any Philly Commuters?
 

Hello all.

Any Philly commuters around?

I took a job at 40th and Walnut. I can get to the BF bridge from where I live in NJ but from there, I need some help as to the safest bicycle route.

Any suggestions?

Haven't commuted in Phila. in years but used to live for awhile in that neighborhood at 40th and Spruce. Make sure you lock up your bike extra tight in that neighborhood, preferably inside. Used to live on the second floor.

Spring Garden Street, though a few blocks out of the way, may be a good east-west street from the bridge exit to 22nd or 23rd to avoid the Art Museum circle, then cross the river on Market, Chestnut or Walnut.
