Warm Gloves

With several Snow falls under my belt, I would like a warm (down to the single numbers) glove but with a Hi-Vis or Blaze Orange color. Can anyone recommend such a glove?

There are lots of threads on this. Go advanced search and search for threads wth gloves in the title.Lots of good recommendations.

For very cold temps mitts are a warmer then gloves.

But skip Lobster mitts. They kinda' suck.

These mitten are probably overkill for your needs (and very expensive)

Why do you say that? I like my Pearl Izumi lobster mitts, but only under 20 degrees F or so... They're too warm! It did take a couple of rides to get used to having only two fingers though.

Perhaps this question might get better traction in the Winter Cycling forum? There are some stickies at the top that discuss strategies for riding in cold weather.

I have a version of these that I picked up at the local uniform store. This is my 3rd season with them and they are great. The thumb hood is critical for working outside, which I do, and riding. I find there are a lot of commutes where I keep the fingers exposed and the thumb covered and it's perfect. This isn't the brand I have, but the same design. I have sewn both mitten-hoods(?) because that's where you naturally pull them off. The next pair I'll sew right away. They're not waterproof, but I never needed them to be even in a heavy rain, which I count as a free washing.
