Mounting Rack on Disc Brake Eyelet?

Seems kinda iffy to me, but do any of you think this would cause any issue if one were to use a disc brake mounting point to also support one side of a rack?

I can think of two gotchas:

1) Is there an eyelet in the same place on the drive side? If not, your rack will mount all crooked.

2) You'd have to mount the rack support on the outside of your disc caliper (bolt head > rack support > disc caliper > frame) so that you don't mess with the spacing of your caliper.

Most rack makers offer models that are specifically made to be disc-compatible, often with L-shaped rack supports that can clear the caliper.

Not exactly, but there is an eyelet close enough to the same location on the drive side. The brake is mounted on the inside so it looks like it should clear it without having to use a disc compatible rack.

My concern was with the extra weight/force that could be applied to the disc brake eyelet.
