Oh! There's also my cyclocomputer and a compass..

My hands also. I have only a bell on my current bike.

Marc, you've been missed.

Well I missed you all as well. I never stopped commuting by bike but I changed job a year ago, I'm now shop foreman so I just didn't have time to spend on internet! Now I'm used to the job so I have a bit more time.

Handlebar type stuff - Integrated shifters, bar wrap, and a handlebar bag that I had hanging out in the garage waiting for the perfect bike.
On the stem, I have a bell and a QuadLock phone mount
On the fork crown I have a B&M light and mount. Other light goes on the foam hat in the dark months.

Is this a joke?

Retroshift brake levers with shifters mounted on, right shifter cable has DURA-ACE (that's right baby, DURA-ACE) 9-sp inline gear indicator. Cheap dirty red bar tape, with an underlayer of old innertube on the tops for more cushion. Cheap, VERY bright flashlight, mounted with interlocking hose clamps. Cateye MITY-3. Inspirational stem decoration.

No.

Metro 550 light, some computer, I think it's a Planet Bike currently though it has been a cheap ($5) Chinese model too. I don't really pay much attention to it, it's mainly there for the clock, and sometimes I look to see how many miles are on this bike.

Cam is up on the helmet.

I have a nice light, a bell, a Cateye computer. I did mount my IPhone there but now that I went from the 5S to the 6S I just carry it in my CCL fanny pack along with my wallet. I once carrie MACE there also but it also now resides on my fanny pack belt.

I am in the minimalist category. On the bar currently is just a front brake and some Lizard Skin bar tape. My night commute finds a Cygolite Metro 400 front light. And that is it. No cameras, no bells, no horns, no extra anything. I have my Garmin EDGE 810 mounted to the stem out of the way, and that is how I ride. I cannot stand extra clutter or unnecessary things on the bar or the bike for that matter. Having the rear light on there already bothers me but it is needed.

Mack lives on my handlebars and a Sparse marker light underneath, with occasional nighttime visits by a Light and Motion 500 lumen torch. Mack is a playful young Mako, so he occasionally flips my ride upside down.

Just a light....

Should have a bell, as yelling is terribly ineffective.

You're right it's been hanging on the handlebars for commutes, but it's not actually attached so I didn't count it.

Also the headlight which is on the underside of the stem on the single speed, and computer on the stem of my road bike, might be considered on the bars for being in the general vicinity.

Kiridmi 07-11-16 03:19 PM

A cheap aliexpress light and a mount for the Garmin Fenix 3.

the sci guy 07-12-16 10:09 AM

SS commuter: Cygolite Dash 450 during the winter months when it gets dark earlier. Summertime, just my hands!
MTB commuter: Cygolite Metro 400 & OT Buckshot bluetooth speaker for tunes (goes on my backpack on SS)
